Use of Rare Breeds and Plants for Genuine Foods in Rural Tourism

According to the unanimous vote of the last DAGENE General Assembly in Austria in June 2007, the venue of the 2008. General Assembly will be Kozard, Hungary. Similarly the Annual Assembly of the SAVE Foundation in September 2007 in Italy, the venue of the next Annual Assembly will be Kozard, Hungary. The two important European Organizations decided to choose a common subject, namely "Use of Rare Breeds and Plants for Genuine Foods in Rural Tourism".

The initiative will demonstrate the importance of the popularity of using rare breeds and rare plants in food products and in rural gastronomy and rural tourism.

Kozard, the tiny little North Hungarian village offers warm welcome to both DAGENE and SAVE participants with good practices in rural tourism and traditional gastronomy.
